New parents have so much to think about. The list of questions and worries can go on and on. Sometimes it is better to focus on a few important points than stress about everything.
This luncheon will focus on getting started with good habits, sleep issues, pacifiers, and general parenting tips. Moms will have a chance to ask specific questions about any parenting issue they may be experiencing. This session promises to be informative on a wide range of baby issues. You don't want to miss it!
Catherine Pearlman, L.M.S.W. has been working professionally with children and families for 14 years. During that span she has used her skills in myriad settings, including schools, camps, Boys and Girls Clubs, and in the homes of families. Her greatest satisfaction has come from helping hundreds of families learn to lead happier, more fulfilled lives.
After seeing so many families -- including her own --struggle with similar issues, Catherine started The Family Coach, LLC. to help parents solve the every day problems that so many of us experience.
As The Family Coach, Catherine believes that there isn't one solution for everyone. Instead, the best way to resolve an issue is with a unique, individualized plan that takes into account such factors as the family's schedule, lifestyle and personality. Catherine is a calming presence who listens carefully and offers user-friendly advice to immediately improve the happiness in a household.
Catherine received her Bachelors Degree from Bucknell University and her Masters of Social Work from New York University. Catherine lives in Westchester, NY with her husband and two children.

At Broadway Babies, each week, a Broadway musical sets the stage for this energetic, interactive, and unique mommy and me class. Four teachers/performers sing out the show tunes in harmony with live piano accompaniment, while everyone sings along. Costumes, props, and musical instruments help develop imagination, musical, and rhythmic skills.
With a carefully written curriculum guided by high accredited teachers and pediatricians, Broadway Babies weaves entertaining educational activities the the story and songs of each musical.

It's more than peek-a-boo and patty cake. In fact, you are your baby's best toy! This talk will explore the ways in which everyday play interactions with your baby impact cognition and social and emotional development.
You will learn about the critical effect that play has on your baby's growing brain and also learn new and fun ways of engaging your child in deeper interactions.
Cynthia Parson Puccio MA, LCSW is currently in private practice in Westchester and in NYC, treating typically developing children for play therapy and doing floortime DIR (Developmental Individual Relationship-based intervention) with children who are on the Autistic Spectrum. Right out of graduate school Cindy worked for four years at the Learning Center in Riverdale doing psycho-remediation with children with a range of language and learning disorders. She then moved to Los Angeles and worked both in a small mental health agency doing psychotherapy with children and families and also in a public elementary school as a counselor doing group therapy. She returned to NY five years ago and resumed her private practice. She has an M.A. in Child Development from Sarah Lawerence College and her L.C.S.W from NYU. She is currently pusuing her Ph.D. in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and developmental Disorders.
